Support for parents that have lost a baby : London Health
Losing a baby is undoubtedly one of the most harrowing experiences parents can go through; it will be an agonising and challenging time but there are plenty of people out there that can help you and offer you the support you need. If you have lost a baby, you will usually be advised to undergo a course of counselling, which can be arranged by your GP and is available on the NHS. There are also numerous charities which offer local support groups and telephone help lines; most of these are free of charge and all have a confidentiality policy; examples of these charities include Tommy’s, The Miscarriage Association, SANDS (Stillbirth and Neonatal Death Society), Babyloss and the Child Death Helpline; you can search online for their contact details, ask your GP or consult the NHS website for links to their pages.
