How long does recovery from laser eye surgery take? : London Health
In general, recovery from laser eye surgery is very quick. Initially, the eyes may be covered using eye pads and the patient may have to wear a mask or sunglasses as the eyes can be very sensitive to light at first. At first, the eyes may appear slightly swollen, red and a bit puffy, but this should wear off after around 48 hours. After LASIK surgery, there may be some tiny red spots on the eye; however these will disappear after around one or two weeks.
