Usually, patients can resume all the activities they normally take part in within four weeks of having surgery; initially, a patient’s night vision may be affected by the surgery so driving is not usually recommended. In most cases, patients should be able to drive within a couple of weeks and patients who are keen to participate in sports should be able to take part within four weeks.
